It's a great sounding cab and the stereo 8 ohm, 4 & 16 ohm mono switchable inputs allow it to replace a 4x12 cab. My 4x12 cabs are Mesa Boogie and Marshall 1960A. I want to add another matching cab and will soon.
This thing is great! I had the celestial loaded line 6 with v30's prior to this and am running an Orange Micro terror (if you haven't checked those out do it)
I'm at that phase of my life where I was looking to downgrade in size of gear but still keep tone, quality and most importantly gigability. So I went with the Orange and then saw a video on you tube where the guy matched the same head with this cab and it sounded good so I ordered one. Thing came 4 days earlier then expected. The thing looks beautiful has a kinda vintage marshall look and a sound to match it. I used to run a marshall 1960 straight cab, and a lot of the tone and feel of this cab remind me of it. Bugera did a grateful job with this cab. However I do eventually plan to swap the bugera speakers for v30's.
I'm not sure why but when the cab arrived the speakers were only loosly held in place by one screw. You could tell that they had been wobbling around during transport because the screw holding it in place was bent. Its a closed back cab so I had to take the back off and screw the speakers in place.
With that being said, this is a great cab.. the tone is really good. We use it live with a Fender FM head at the moment. The speakers can be ran together in mono or seperate in stereo. Seriously a great sounding peice of equipment, well worth the money.
I got the Bugera 212V-BK as an extension cabinet for my tiny?
I love the sound I get out of this thing (paired with the Bugera V55HD). It is a very sturdy and loud cabinet with great sound.
