Great sound and quality. Good range of customization is provided by the module. I'd say the only caveat is that the frame width is a big tight and not easily setup for a double bass pedal; took me few iterations of adjusting the positioning and orientation of the frame to sit comfortably with the double pedals.

Very cool drum set. My son and I love it and we play on it every day. It sounds fantastic!

I never thought I'd get an e-kit, but I was wanting to practice without disturbing my neighbors. At first I was going to buy a much cheaper kit with a different brand, but the reviews on the brand's reliability convinced me otherwise. I'm very impressed with the sound and feel of the TD-17kvx. It sounds much better in person than it does on youtube. Other musicians who heard it played were impressed with its sound as well. The hi-hat and ride take some time and practice to get the desired sounds. The module is fairly easy to use and setup of the kit wasn't hard. I suggest watching unboxing videos on youtube prior to setup. All in all, I think the kvx is worth the price paid

I love the feel and I love the sound and I love that I can play at most any time even when the baby is sleeping in the next room

I wish the controller would allow new sounds to be added or Downloaded to it

Christmas gift for my step daughter, I had a similar set a long time ago. Love it, feels great and the tones are very sharp. For the money, you cannot go wrong!
