The LS16 features all-solid Rosewood back and sides with hand-selected premium Engelmann Spruce top. The combination of these tried-and-true tone woods produce a tone that is balanced and articulate with warmth to spare. A modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series characteristic bright tone while enhancing low-end tone. The rosewood and mahogany 5-ply neck is carved into a comfortable slim profile. This traditional style offers stable grip and smooth playability over the full length of the neck.
