Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Custom: Epiphone Guitars with Gibson Custom Shop Features?

Gibson has established itself as a prominent name in the guitar manufacturing industry, renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and historical authenticity. Their Custom Shop located in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, are well-known for producing the world's most sought-after and highly-prized instruments. For a decade, they have been crafting top-notch guitars, and their Custom Shop models go above and beyond by meticulously re-creating the cherished vintage Gibson Guitars from the 50s and 60s era.

Epiphone, other than their original models such as the Sheraton, Casino and Riviera, has always been a go-to option for guitar enthusiasts seeking an instrument that closely resembles an authentic Gibson, or better yet inspired by Gibson original models, but at a more affordable price point and a less expensive build quality. Experienced players believe that nothing compares to a genuine Gibson guitar, but what if we tell you, this time you can own Epiphone guitars that look, play, feel, and sound the closest, better yet, exactly the same as the real Gibson Guitars?

Enter the New 2024 Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Custom series!

A collaboration born from the shared vision of two great brands, Epiphone Guitars, long celebrated for their accessibility and innovation, teamed up with the Gibson Custom Shop to create instruments that embody the spirit and legacy of the true Gibson guitars while maintaining the accessibility and affordability that Epiphone is known for.

At the heart of the Inspired By Gibson Custom series lies a commitment to excellence. These guitars are more than mere replicas; they are premium recreations of some of the most beloved guitar designs in history. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, each instrument in the collection features premium appointments that mirror those found on Gibson's most prestigious models.

The result of this collaboration is a collection of guitars that pay homage to Gibson's rich heritage while offering players a gateway to new musical horizons. From the iconic Les Paul Standard to the timeless J-45, each instrument in the Inspired By Gibson series represents the 'greatest hits' of Gibson's storied back catalog.

What Makes Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Custom Different From Other Epiphone Series?

One of the hallmarks of the Inspired By Gibson Custom series is its incorporation of Gibson Custom Shop features. From the distinctive open-book headstocks to the renowned Gibson pickups, these guitars are imbued with the essence of Gibson's craftsmanship. But the similarities don't end there. Neck shapes are meticulously replicated to match those found on Custom Shop models, ensuring vintage accuracy and unparalleled playability.

But it's not just about aesthetics; it's about performance too. Inspired By Gibson Custom guitars boast long neck tenons, which have been well-known in the Gibson Custom Shop instruments, for enhanced sustain, period-correct tailpieces, and Gibson Custom Shop’s exclusive VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) finishes that exude vintage authenticity. Premium components such as CTS® pots, 50s-era wiring, Mallory™ capacitors, and L.R. Baggs preamps further elevate the playing experience, delivering professional-grade tone and responsiveness.
