The AX-Series from ADAM Audio provides you with a wide range of monitors for different applications. Their excellent price-performance ratio makes them suitable for professional studio applications as well as upscale home recording. Many technical innovations in ADAM’s high end SX-Series are also used in the AX models. The chamfered upper corners of the sturdy cabinet fronts minimise edge diffraction so that phase cancellation is not an issue. The speaker interior is equipped with a special fleece that prevents disturbing internal resonances as well as ensuring a better bass reflex tuning. The power switch and volume control are easily accessible on the front panel for greater ease of use. The front-firing bass ports are very useful as well, allowing the monitors to be set up closer to a wall if need be.

easy on the ears

The thing that fascinates me about these monitors is how low the ear fatigue is after hours of use. If your ears are particularly sensitive some day or you need to do a long session you can adjust the tweeters and no matter how low you shelf them the highs are still present and revealing. I've been through 4 pairs of monitors because of harsh highs. Very reputable monitors too, but to no avail they all left my ears hurting after an hour of use due to my cat ears. Imagine being a cat with your ears back for an hour of mixing. H-E-L-L. So these ribbon tweeters are working great. Something how I always end up staying with German made audio gear. I was doing over an hour of gaming and I didn't think once of the status of my ears. I think the stereo imaging was a TAD better with the CMS40s I bought last. Focals (CMS line) are my #1 fav monitors so far as far as stereo imaging. The A7Xs are VERY transparent. More-so than the Focal CMS line. Crappy mp3s sound like a muddy mess consequently on these things.

amazing!! So much soundstage

WOW!

I bought these for my small room/workspace/deskspace. I bought some cheaper smaller monitors to replace crappy computer speakers and got bit by the audio bug. I am not involved in production. I just listen to and enjoy music all day.

These speakers are amazing for their size. The detail from these speakers is truly inspiring. I had not heard anything like it before. The ribbon tweeter has clarity that must be heard. The bass, oh the bass. It is amazing! I would not even think of adding a sub. The mids and bass are lush and thick. These speakers are like a big candy bar made of sound sitting on your desk... Mmmmmmm They are expensive and you do truly get your money's worth in my opinion. Another plus is they do not get to that hot, despite their substantial ear shattering power.

JUST UPGRADED FROM THE SUPER LITTLE ADAM A5X.
ADAM A7X IS SUPERIOR IN ALL MAJOR AUDIO PARAMETERS.
BASS IS MORE EXTENDED AND CONROLLED.
MIDRANGE IS MORE ARTICULATE, THAT DID SURPRISE ME.
TREBLE HAS THAT SAME SUPER CLEAN ADAM SOUND.
GO FOR THE A7X IF YOU HAVE ROOM FOR THEM.
FORGET THE EXTRA COST, JUST DO IT !

The best money can buy!

I own these monitors and they are by far the best monitors I've ever heard. I went through every monitor available at Guitar Center and narrowed it down to these. Best money you will ever spend :)
