Allen & Heath AR84 8in / 4out 48kHz Expander

The Allen & Heath GLD-AR84 is an Expander AudioRack for the company's GLD, SQ, Qu, and Avantis digital mixing systems. The AR84 adds 8 XLR inputs and 4 XLR outputs to the GLD system. You can add up to two GLD-AR84s to your system, connected to the GLD-AR2412 main AudioRack (and/or directly to your GLD-80 mixer). You get easy connectivity with inexpensive and readily available Cat 5 cable running Allen & Heath's dSNAKE protocol. In your live setup, you can position the AR2412 up to 400' from the GLD-80. This lets you place your AudioRacks onstage, for instance, keeping your analog cable runs short and running Cat 5 to FOH. dSNAKE gives you control over the remote preamp, with all mic pres being scene-recallable.
