In response to numerous player requests, Darkglass has added a balanced XLR output with switchable cabinet emulation — you can achieve full, amp-like tone just by going direct to the sound system or recording chain. You can connect to your Mac or PC via USB to load up different virtual cabinet emulations. And the headphone output features cabinet emulation too, making the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 a great practice partner. From practice and rehearsal to performance and recording, the Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 is a workhorse bass preamp pedal.

Clay variety is incredible both clean and dirty. The headphone out has become my best friend. The IR of the Darkglass Suite are second to none and cover pretty much every amp + mic combo.

Darkglass B7K Ultra V2

This pedal sounds amazing even when it's clean, or dirty. Just plug in your bass and sound already amazing without any tweaking with the speaker emulation, turn on the preamp and all the extra controls is at your fingertips.

Built to load

This thing is great. Opened up my bass sound in a great way, the EQ is so responsive and very easy to use. The versatility makes it easy to change bass and adjust the pedal accordingly. The overdrive / distortion is nice and organic.

Must have!

Its clear channel provides an ampeg-like tubular sound with some Darkglass seasoning. And the distorted channel knows everything from fine overdrive to coarse metal distortion. You can upload a stack of speaker simulations that add extra character to the sound. Super sense of quality in the pots and in terms of assembly.

Very Versatile

To start you can dial in this pedal anywhere from a clean signal sound all the way to disgusting overdriven bass tone (pretty much in all metal music) I highly recommend this pedal you will not be disappointed!!
