The RODECaster Video S is a streamlined take on RODE’s larger A/V production console, offering the same powerful video switching, recording, and production tools in a sleeker, user-friendly package. The intuitive layout supports up to four Full HD video sources through three 1080p HDMI inputs and a versatile multifunction USB-C port for webcams and audio connections. To the delight of Music Bliss A/V engineers, audio is handled by a studio-grade APHEX processor with a slew of effects, including EQ, noise gates, filters, and more, along with a pair of Neutrik XLR combo jacks and two integrated RODE Series IV receivers for supported wireless mics. Creative tools, including video layering, graphic overlays, media playback, and automatic chroma keying, are controlled via a 2-inch high-resolution touchscreen and a backlit button pad. With ISO recording to external USB storage, Wi-Fi and Ethernet streaming, and intelligent autoswitching based on audio input, the RODECaster Video S is an indispensable tool for optimizing any production’s workflow.
