What is the Music Bliss Piano Trade-In Programme?

The Piano Trade-In Programme lets you trade in your old or pre-loved piano — digital, upright, or grand, any brand — for cash rebate credit toward a brand-new Kawai piano from Music Bliss. We handle the collection of your old unit and the delivery of your new piano, so you don’t need to arrange disposal or transport yourself.

Submit your interest through our online form, and a Music Bliss consultant will guide you through the rest.

How much cash rebate can I get for my old piano?

The rebate amount depends on the category of piano you’re trading in:

✔ Entry digital pianos — up to RM500 cash rebate
✔ Digital pianos — up to RM3,000 cash rebate
✔ Upright pianos — up to RM8,800 cash rebate
✔ Grand pianos — up to RM16,800 cash rebate

The exact value is based on your piano’s brand, model, age, condition, and current market demand, and is confirmed by our admin team after assessment. Once confirmed and the new piano purchase is completed, the rebate is credited to your bank account within 3–5 working days.Trade-in values are final and non-negotiable once issued.

Which pianos are eligible for this trade-in programme?

We accept any brand of digital, upright, or grand piano, regardless of its age or condition. Whether your piano is fully functional, damaged, or no longer working, you can still trade it in towards a brand-new Kawai piano. The piano you're trading up to, however, must be a new Kawai model from our eligible list, including:

What’s the risk of buying a piano from an unauthorised seller?

Buying a piano from an unauthorised seller — a reseller on Carousell, Facebook Marketplace, or a platform listing with no verified distributor status — carries real risk:

● Voided or non-existent warranty — units sold outside the authorised distribution channel often have no valid manufacturer warranty in Malaysia, leaving you to cover any repair cost yourself.

● Grey or parallel imports — these units may be sourced from a different regional market, with mismatched voltage, specifications, or firmware not intended for Malaysian conditions.

● No proof of condition or service history — secondhand pianos bought without a professional assessment may have hidden issues (humidity damage, internal wear, non-functional keys or pedals) that aren’t obvious on a quick viewing.

✔ Your old piano is collected on the same scheduled visit as your new piano delivery, so you’re not left without an instrument in between

✔ Ground floor level removal is included at no additional cost

✔ For units on higher floors or with restricted access (stairs, narrow doorways, lift limitations), let our team know when you submit your trade-in interest so the right equipment and crew can be arranged in advance

✔ Once collected, your old piano is not returned — disposal is handled entirely by Music Bliss, so there’s no further action needed on your end

01 · Programme period & eligibility

The Piano Trade-Up Programme is open to customers who own a digital, upright or grand piano (any brand) and purchase a selected new Kawai or Shigeru Kawai piano from Music Bliss. Eligible new models are listed under each upgrade path on this page; final eligibility is confirmed by our Piano Specialist.

02 · Assessment

Submit your piano's brand, model, serial number and clear photos through our trade-up form. Our Piano Specialist reviews your submission and contacts you within 1–3 working days with an estimated trade-up value. A physical inspection may be required before the value is confirmed.

03 · Trade-up value

Trade-up values are based on brand, model, age, condition and market demand. Amounts shown are maximum values ("up to"): Upright → Grand up to RM8,888 · Digital → K-300 & above up to RM3,000 · Entry digital → CA Series up to RM500 · Grand → Kawai GX up to RM10,800 · Grand → Shigeru Kawai SK up to RM16,800. The confirmed trade-up value is final and non-negotiable.

04 · Payment of trade-up value

The trade-up value is credited to your bank account within 3–5 working days after the new piano purchase is completed and your existing piano has been collected. The trade-up value has no cash alternative before the purchase is completed.

05 · Collection & delivery

Music Bliss arranges collection of your existing piano at no cost. Delivery of your new piano is included for ground-floor locations; upper floors, staircases or special handling may incur additional charges, quoted in advance. Delivery and collection are arranged within 1–3 working days from purchase, subject to scheduling.

06 · Limitations

One trade-up per new piano purchased. This programme cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers or discounts unless stated. Music Bliss reserves the right to amend or end the programme at any time without prior notice.

07 · Warranty & returns

Trade-up pianos, once collected, are non-returnable. New pianos are covered under the standard Kawai Malaysia warranty policy.

08 · Privacy

Information you submit is kept confidential and used only for processing your trade-up.
