Get this mic first if you are just getting into audio interfaces. Don't waste money on a cheap one. This mic is fantastic on a Scarlet 2i2.

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this mic. If you are just getting into youtube, podcasting or streaming, this is the mic to get. If you are currently using a usb mic, this is the mic to upgrade to. Audio Technica has always made great mics and this one is no different. The build is top notch and the sound well exceeds the price. A must have.

A whole new world of recording delight - I moved from a Blue Yeti USB mic to this one on the recommendation of a professional musician friend. Basically, as he told me, it's relatively inexpensive for the quality you're getting and - as mic technology is pretty much unchanging these days - will hold its value should I want to re-sell it and move on to an even better unit.

You should be going for something more costly if you're a pro - and if you can afford it - but for the rest of us this is a superb choice. Clean sound, great pickup, sturdy and with a nice weight to it, it does what it's meant to do (i.e. record voices and sounds) brilliantly and doesn't feel like it'll break at a moment's notice like some cheaper mics for cool kids do.

Also, while some might find it a bit unflattering to gape at, I like the look of the thing. Functional and unspectacular, like me in many ways.

I fell in love with the microphone immediately felt very heavy and good quality . Sound quality is amazing and super easy to hook up just make sure you have an audio interface with phantom power if you?re using it with the PC. I give it a 10 out of 10 definitely worth the money.

This is a very good microphone for a very good price. I am very happy with this product. My friend who has his own custom musical device business including building mics, also is impressed with this model.
