Love it! Now I just need to buy the ac adapter.

My son and I got this for my husband for Christmas. He was thrilled -- like a KID on Christmas morning, and he has spent hours playing his previously-neglected electric guitar since then. He raves about the sound quality versus his large amp. The Katana offers more controls than its closest competition in terms of quality.

First off I have tried virtually all most every amp there is. I have also fastidiously fallowed all the latest technologies and trends and I must say the this amp at even the lowest of volumes will give you the best metal tone you have ever heard . End of story. Get one now if you are a true metal head. Dime and Vinnie will get themselves a pull when they hear you playing it. Enough said.

Boss Katana Mini is an awesome little amplifier that produces awesome sounds at low volumes, excellent for keeping wife and kids happy!

I read many of the online reviews and watched many video reviews before I bought the Boss Katana Mini. Almost all were quite favorable. But, considering its size and being battery powered, I still didn't expect much. I just wanted something that I could easily move around the house if I was struck to play. And, play in my bedroom without disturbing the household.

The favorable reviews were right. I am completely blown away by how great this amp sounds. And, its surprisingly loud. For me, the brown channel really shines. Its just sweet goodness. The clean channel distorts fairly early but for all its pros thats a minor con. The amp is great. The delay is decent enough (not great) but I would have preferred reverb. Again, a minor con.

This is definitely not a toy. Its a serious amp and well worth the buy if you need a simple, portable and quality sounding amp.
