The Darkglass Alpha Omicron was created for the bassist who wants the Alpha Omega's premium analog signal path and dual distortion modes in a smaller pedal format for less money. Clank and djent are this pedal's strong suits. But thanks to a Blend control, players can unlock subtler shades of dirt with ease. Choose or mix between two distinct distortion flavors, tap into added thickness and presence via the Growl and Bite controls, then layer onto your dry bass tone to taste. Like all Darkglass pedals, the Alpha Omicron is proudly handmade in Finland from the finest parts.

Impressive.........Most Impressive

Absolutely the best distortion. Watch Nolly. What you hear is what you get!! Darkglass is on my top 5. Wish is was priced a bit lower............ but that said I would buy again without hesitation. Provides a whole new dynamic to playing bass. Check out Stockman. Wish I had this 10 years ago!!

Just what I need. Its got the perfect metal tone, but not limited to it. Could be an overdrive or a massive metal punch to the face, depending on the tones you choose!

Versatile preamp OD pedal

I use this for my bass, it has plenty of versatility for my uses. Can get a good dark growl, a bright biting distortion or a combo of both. It has been a great addition to my pedal board. Dark growl good for a more menacing metal distortion, bite distortion sounds great for punk and general rock.

Great value and performance

This pedal exceeded my expectations. I've followed Darkglass for awhile now, and I have wanted this pedal for a long time. They also do not skimp on the packaging, and they include a sticker and a Darkglass pick. Great sound and quality. Immediately became my favorite pedal and overall bass accessory.

Be all end all

I love this pedal, there's not much more to say. The range of tones of OD is fantastic between the two sides, having a blend feature is an absolute MUST for and bass OD. This has become nearly an always on pedal. Very rarely is it not in use in some capacity.
