Bass players and guitarists at Music Bliss are excited about the Darkglass Element, a state-of-the-art cabinet simulator and headphone amp in a compact pedal format. You won’t find any knobs on the Element’s top panel. It uses Darkglass’s proprietary touch-sensor technology with three tactile sliders and positioning LEDs, so you can set your parameters quickly and see them easily when lights are low. Out of the box, the Element offers five cabinet simulations, and you can add many more via the Darkglass Suite.

Love this product and with its upgrades it makes for a great simple audio interface for bass or guitar. Loving all the cab sim options too. Darkglass makes some great products - excellent customer service as well. Solid sturdy construction and sleek design. Highly recommend.

amazing for practice and home recording!

This quickly earned a permanent spot on my pedalboard, and with each firmware update, it keeps getting better! At first, I used it only for practice, and it worked great for both bass and guitar. (It comes loaded with 3 bass cab sims and 2 guitar cab sims.) When it was first released, the included software was great sounding but pretty bare bones. With the latest free firmware upgrade, they added extra graphic EQ control along with more adjustable amp head sims.

In addition to its great use as a practice tool, it also works as an audio interface for recording. You only need the included USB C cable and the recording software of your choice (Audacity for me) for it to work as a great sounding recording tool.

If you want a big bass or guitar rig sound at home (and a way to practice without disturbing anyone around you), this really does the trick.

I use this more then my actual amps great product and the Darkglass Suite is progressively getting better

Great little headphone amp.

I've gone through several headphone amps but never liked the tone. I travel for work and need one. This one is the best sounding I have came across. Love that I can connect Bluetooth with my IPad and play along/practice/transcribe.

Best cab sim yet

I've used a number of cab sims/headphone preamps in the past. The Element is huge leap forward. As a bass player, most sims were either artificial sounding or passed along too much noise in the signal chain. Aside from the many great sounding sims, the ability to stream backing tracks via Bluetooth, and the crystal clear tone, the option to use the Element as a DI for passing signal to a mixer is the icing on the cake.
