Product Description

Darkglass Microtubes X7 Bass Preamp Pedal (MICROTUBESX-7)

Darkglass Microtubes X7 Bass Preamp Pedal

The Darkglass Microtubes X7 bass preamp pedal nails the recipe for powerful distorted bass that maintains low-end impact. The key to punchy distorted bass is allowing your mids and highs to provide the harmonic drive, while leaving your low fundamentals firm and undistorted. The Microtubes X7 pedal achieves this by splitting your signal to two variable filters before the gain stage, so you can shape your own unique drive tone with just the right combination of boom and bite. Complete with a 4-band graphic EQ for perfecting your midrange character, the Darkglass Microtube X7 bass preamp pedal delivers powerful, tight, defined tones with any bass.

This pedal is no joke!

I have a tuner, bass analog chorus, and the Microtubes X7 running into a Hartke HA3500 with a custom 2x10 cab... The tone is just absolutely stunning. I normally run a dirty bass tone, it sits well in the mix with my band.

Thank You

i felt crazy and tried a 3rd - The Microtubes X7. This is a crazy good pedal. the compression is focused on the low frequencies, and the distortion is focused on the high frequencies - uhhh...yes please! dial down the low crossover and crank the compression to get that studio and arena sub bass sound. clean solid tone to dirty grind, to downright nasty, aggressive distortion with the sub bass frequencies still holding it down.

Not just a djent pedal

This thing is seriously versatile and it's a shame that it is so heavily advertised to a certain crowd.

The best distortion pedal for bass!!!

If you have not watched videos on how this pedal works and you are a bass player that plays with distortion but wants to keep a strong bass tone You Tube it!!! Hands down the best bass distortion/fuzz on the market of you are about tone!!!!
