Pearl’s 8" Guiro cowbell is made from sturdy steel that is built to take a beating. Featuring two different playing surfaces — ribbed and traditional flat — this cowbell produces three distinct sounds. When you play the flat side, you’ll get the traditional cowbell tone. When you flip it over, the nine ridges will produce a tone that is dryer than the traditional, open tone of the opposite side. Percussionists at Music Bliss love how the Guiro Cowbell can be played like a traditional Guiro and provide a ratchet sound that works perfectly in a salsa band. The Pearl Primero Guiro Cowbell is the perfect option for any player who wants to add a little variety to their cowbell’s sound.
