Hand soldered in small batches in Jackson, Missouri, this boutique-quality distortion pedal is replete with premium components, including a high-performance LM741 op-amp and smooth CTS pots. Moreover, it proudly flaunts the RAT's time-honored 3-knob control set, putting everything from subtle, sweet-sounding grit to harmonic-rich, fuzz-like grunge right under your feet. Additionally, the Sterling Vermin includes selectable clipping diodes, enabling you to toggle between traditional RAT silicon diodes and a hot-modded BAT41 option for expanded tonal colors. Meanwhile, the polished stainless steel enclosure with laser-annealed graphics is positively eye-catching.
