I decided to learn piano and shopped around for quite a while before selecting this keyboard. Absolutely no regrets! Basic features but a very high quality instrument. A modest soundbank paired with a built in metronome was really everything I needed to get started. Then I downloaded Roland Piano Partner 2 app. Wow! This opened up so many features that I had no idea existed like splitting the keyboard, different sounds, and even adjusting the tuning. Suddenly it was not a basic unit at all.
The hammer action keys feel just like a real piano but with a softer texture to the keys. If you are looking for your first keyboard look no further. Add a stand and a bench and you will have everything you need.

Transitioning from a 66 key keyboard, this piano has been heavenly. The weighted key are great, and I love still being able to plug in headphones to not annoy the my roommates while I'm playing. Highly recommended!

Though limited in sounds, what is there is high quality. I do miss having a dedicated pair of outputs, but it wasn't worth the cost of the upgrade to get them. Would rather have that than the fussy interface software. I don't use it.

shipping was fast and sound and key quality very good and as expected. also came with a pedal and music sheet holder.

Replaced my 90's Roland 2500s (which I loved) with this keyboard after a house fire. I was willing to compromise a bit with a lesser model but to my surprise, other than the more formal look of my 2500, there are no compromises and in fact, this keyboard has more features; built in songs, an adjustable metronome and some other features that my 2500 didn't have. It also fits perfectly in my new apartment. Love it, love it, love it!
