I decided to upgrade to this one (I last used AT2020) after a recommendation from my friend who's a professional audio engineer/mixer (who was also based at home). I use the mic to make & produce professional sounding covers (at youtube.com/NessCovers and youtube.com/ELiRiA) and there were no regrets with this one. It's more warm and with a slightly more compressed sound compared to my AT2020, but it controls my loud sound very well. I'm also very happy that it eliminated the metallic sound that came with my AT2020. 10/10 would recommend!

I bought the first one for my son, a film sound designer, film school instructor and certified sound engineer. He used it on important jobs and concluded that its the best mic he's heard. I love Sennheiser products so with that recommendation, I grabbed one for myself. It's awesome.

Microphone sounds really clear in comparison to my Audio Technica. Cost twice as much too!

This is now my go-to mic. It sounds so incredibly warm and captures more details than any of my other mics. This is seriously an amazing mic. The only and I mean only negative is that, it looks (ascetically) boring but that's Sennheiser in general.

Seriously the best mic I have ever used so far they are absolutely 100% worth it, I run a ASMR REIKI youtube channel and these mics are unbelievable!!!!! Worth every single penny , best of the best , you really get what you pay for with german quality!
