Vic Firth RM4 RE.MIX Rattan/Birch Brushes

Stackable Vic Firth RE-MIX brushes allow you to mix colors and textures around the kit like never before. Each design in the RE-MIX series is a collaboration between world percussionist Pete Lockett (Björk, Peter Gabriel) and Vic Firth, designed to allow trap setters to train beaters to explore new sounds from traditional instruments. The RE-MIX RM4s are made from large-bore sandwiched dowels of artisan rattan and birch. The two woods converge on cymbals and skins to create a unique response — sort of like traditional rute sticks, but more open and easier for rakes and swirls. The RM4s pair with any of the other tools in the RE-MIX lineup to give you greater slap, punch, or dynamic range. Vic Firth RE-MIX brushes feature comfortable flat handles so as not to hinder your groove in the heat of a set or session.
