With the AAD170CE, Ibanez offers a grand dreadnought acoustic that has slightly larger overall dimensions. The result is not only a richer and brighter sound but a bump in volume! The AAD170CE features a solid Sitka spruce top with okoume back and sides, plus natural low gloss finish that really lets the natural wood tone come through. A Thermo-Aged nyatoh neck with ovangkol fingerboard delivers ultra-smooth response, making the AAD170CE ideal for both flatpicking and fingerpicking. In addition, a smooth cutaway gives you wonderful access to those higher notes up the neck. And when you are ready to plug in, an AP11 magnetic pickup mounted at the end of the fretboard and an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp with volume and tone controls deliver outstanding amplified acoustic tone.
