The Schecter Hellcat VI is a modern reinterpretation of the classic "Bass VI" that retains the original's quirky, vintage styling but makes it their own. Bass VI-style instruments are truly unique as they fall somewhere in between a bass and a guitar. They're tuned E-to-G like a standard bass, but are a shorter (30") scale with lighter strings. The result is deep bass-y tones on an instrument that'll feel more familiar for guitarists and provide a different tonal palette and approach for bassists.
