Back is the comfortable dreadnought body style and solid spruce top that players loved in the FG730, but new scalloped bracing gives this acoustic an even bigger low end and better projection for live and recording applications. The body's back and sides are made from rosewood to give the FG830 its powerful tone and warmth. And the satin-finished slim neck with rounded fret edges gives the Yamaha FG830 smooth playability.
