Most reviews of the Alesis Strata Prime cover the same ground: the BFD sound engine, the big touchscreen, the mesh heads, the 360-degree cymbals. All of that is worth knowing, and all of it is on the spec sheet. But a kit like this has a lot of depth that never makes it into a review, and plenty of owners are playing on one every day without touching half of what the module can do.
This article is about that other half. Ten features that are genuinely useful, mostly hidden a menu or two deep, and several of which will save you a surprising amount of time. Some are workflow shortcuts, some are sound design tools, and one of them is going to change how you feel about naming your kits. If you already own a Strata Prime, you will probably find at least three things here you did not know. If you are still deciding, this is what the spec sheet does not tell you.
